Emerging Markets Financial Controller (f / m)

This position offers you a very interesting and broad range of activities and responsibilities within the field of financial controlling and reporting. You will be part of a team of financial controllers and responsible for selected reporting processes and business units.

Your activities include coordinating and supervising all financial controlling-and reporting-related processes, preparation of key reports and analysis of significant movements. You provide the management with timely and accurate information including analyzes and comments as well as ad-hoc compilations. Implementing new reporting standards in addition to improving existing reports and reporting processes are also important tasks. In your function you develop strong partnerships with the business units, acting as a link to the EM home office. Moreover you will be involved in various EM projects.

Prerequisites for this challenging position are a university degree in economics or equivalent education and several years of working experience in the controlling department of an insurance company. Additional requirements are competent knowledge of international accounting (IFRS) as well as in-depth Excel, and PowerPoint know-how. Strong communication skills in English are presupposed, the knowledge of Russian or another Eastern European language is a plus.
